HOW YOUR CANDLE BAR EXPERIENCE WORKS
Enjoy a 2-2.5 hour guided candle class, where you'll pick from our full selection of 15-20 scents and have the option of blending 1-3 different scents to create a “signature scent.” Each class includes 1 candle per guest, and additional candles can be made for a discounted rate.

We'd love to host you in our studio, located in the historic Dana Warp Mill in Westbrook, Maine (15 minutes from downtown Portland).
Our studio is a beautiful backdrop and we have free parking. You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages or order delivery!

All we'll need is a dedicated workspace for each person (think tables, peninsulas, or islands), and access to 1 power outlet.

PRIVATE EVENT FAQS
Is there set-up and break-down time?
For events hosted in your own space, we’ll arrive 45 min. prior to your event start to set up, and once your event ends, we’ll break down and leave your space better than we found it within 30 min.
How far in advance should I book my private event?
The short answer: as soon as you know you'd like to book us!
We need a minimum of 1 week's notice to ensure we'll have the supplies and staff to make your event perfect. However, we tend to book up quickly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so the earlier the better!
Can we bring our candles home that day?
Yes! Your candles need ~45 minutes to dry after pouring. Once they’re dry, we’ll trim your wick and package your candle up for easy transport. We suggest letting them cure for 7 days at home before burning for best results.
What’s required to book?

For groups of 1-20: We require a deposit for our minimum group size of 6 people. To give you flexibility, we’ll check in 7 days prior to your event to confirm your final headcount, and send a final invoice for the remaining balance at that time.

For candle “station” events / groups of 21-100: We require a 50% deposit, and an invoice for the remaining 50% balance will be sent 7 days prior to your event.
Do your instructors accept gratuities?
While gratuities are never expected or required, they are certainly appreciated if your instructor created a phenomenal experience.
If you'd prefer a non-monetary method of tipping, as a small business, a Google Review goes a long way and is equally appreciated!
What's your age policy for candle making?
We love kids and they're definitely welcome at your event! Their level of involvement in the actual candle making will depend on their age:

Guests under age 8 are welcome to attend your event, but are not able to make their own candle (but they can supervise their parent/guardian as they make one!)

Guests age 8-11 are welcome to make their own candle, but a parent or guardian must be present to supervise their candle making
