POUR-YOUR-OWN CANDLE CLASSES & EXPERIENCES
Looking for a fun activity for your upcoming corporate team building event, holiday party, birthday party, bachelorette party, bridal shower, etc.? Look no further!

We'll lead you through a luxury candle making experience where each guest will design a custom candle fragrance and pour their own candle (which you'll take home that day!)
​
We'll handle all of the set-up, materials and clean-up -- your group will just show up and enjoy, and there's absolutely no prior experience required!
Private Events
Enjoy a 2-2.5 hour guided candle class, where you'll pick from our full selection of 15-20 scents and have the option of blending 1-3 different scents to create a “signature scent.” Each class includes 1 candle per guest, and additional candles can be made for a discounted rate.

We'd love to host you in our studio, located in the historic Dana Warp Mill in Westbrook, Maine (15 minutes from downtown Portland).
Our studio is a beautiful backdrop and we have free parking. You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages or order delivery!
We'll bring the candle making experience to your home, office, Airbnb, or other local venue!
All we'll need is a dedicated workspace for each person (think tables, peninsulas, or islands), and access to 1 power outlet.
Travel included within 30 minutes of Portland, Maine (or further for a small fee)
We partner with other small businesses to host events in their downtown Portland, Maine locations.
A great option if you'd like to enjoy quick travel time and order food & beverages during your class!

How long do classes take?
​​Classes typically last between 2 - 2.5 hours depending on the group size. However, if you have any specific time constraints, please let us know!
How far in advance should I book my private event?
The short answer: as soon as you know you'd like to book with us!
We need a minimum of 1 week's notice to ensure we'll have the supplies and staff to make your event perfect. However, we tend to book up quickly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so the earlier the better!
Can we bring our candles home that day?
YES! Your candles need to dry for 45 minutes after being poured, so we’ll start class with candle making, and leave the final 45 minutes for socializing, chatting about candle tips, etc.
After class, we recommend letting your candle cure for 7 days before burning.
I know I want to book, but I don't know my exact guest count yet. Is that ok?
Of course! We know that flexibility is important -- RSVPs can be slow and your guests' plans can change.To reserve your date, we just require a deposit for our minimum group size of 6 guests. Then we'll check in 7 days prior to your event to confirm your final guest count and send the final bill.
Do your instructors accept gratuities?
While gratuities are never expected or required, they are certainly appreciated if your instructor gave you a phenomenal experience.
If you'd prefer a non-monetary method of tipping, as a small business, a Google Review goes a long way and is equally appreciated!
What's your age policy for candle classes?
What's your cancellation / refund policy for private events?
We love kids and they're definitely welcome at your event! Their level of involvement in the actual candle making will depend on their age:

Guests age 12-18 are welcome, but must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian to participate in candle making

Guests age 8-11 are welcome, but a parent or guardian must be present during class to supervise their candle making, and to sign a waiver on their behalf

Guests under age 8 are welcome to attend your event, but are not able to make their own candle (but they can supervise their parent/guardian as they make one!)
While we understand that life happens, late cancellations prevent us from offering the time slot to another customer and directly impact our small business.
For that reason, full refunds can only be given if cancelled more than 14 days prior to event date. If cancelled 7-14 days in advance, 50% refund will be offered. Within 7 days of the event, all payments are non-refundable.
