PRO TIPS To keep your candles burnin' in tip-top shape CLASSIC CANDLES ​ ​ 1. Be like Usher and let it burn for at least 1 hour, but no more than 4 hours. ​ 2. Trim that wick! If it’s longer than ¼ inches at any time, it needs a haircut. 3. Remember the basics: Burn within sight, and keep away from flammable objects, children, and pets. 4. After your candle has been lit, it can be too hot to handle – we recommend placing it on a coaster before burning & letting it chill out before picking it up. 5. Know when to let go – when less than 1/2 an inch of wax remains at the bottom, it’s time for a new Underdog. Warnings: Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time Handle matches with care. ​ Close bottle before striking the match. ​ Strike gently away from the body, holding from the middle of stem to prevent breakage. ​ Keep out of reach of children, keep away from hot surfaces and flames, and never leave an open flame unattended. SAFETY MATCHES ​ WICK TRIMMERS Use these bad boys to trim your wick to ¼” length before each candle use. ​ To use: Place the bottom the wick trimmer flush with the surface of the candle and then tilt the trimmer forward to a 45 degree angle to get the proper ¼” wick length. ​ Discard wick remnants before lighting the candle again. ​ Wipe clean with a damp cloth after each use. ​ Place reed sticks into the diffuser bottle to absorb the fragrance oils & naturally diffuse the scent ​ Flip the natural rattan reeds weekly or as needed to refresh the scent ​ Keep away from direct sunlight and other heat sources to avoid drying out the reeds ​ To create a lighter scent throw, only insert a few reeds, or remove as needed Warnings: Keep away from heat sources Avoid contact with skin & eyes Keep out of reach of children & animals Do not consume. do not light reeds Avoid spilling oil on furniture, textiles or finished surfaces.
